Thomas Classics, Just wanted to send a quick E-mail to say Thank You! The car is honestly better than expected! The seven hour drive home was a great chance for it to prove itself and it ran like a top! My uncle Richards 92' has 13K miles (he's the original owner) and he could not believe the condi...tion of the car. I have NEVER kept a dealer license plate bracket on any of the sports cars I have owned but I will be putting the custom plates for this one in your dealer bracket. These days everybody is selling "New Used" and "factory Certified" and "pre-loved!" cars, I used to detail cars...most of it's a bunch of crap! When I read on your website that you deal in "Exception Pre-owned Automobiles"...honestly I thought "A good detailing". I was wrong! There isn't a rusty bolt or spot on the carpet or chip in the paint and mechanically...It ran like a new car for the 700 miles I drove it home! I have never put a deposit on a car without driving it, after our phone conversation and a quick view of your website I just felt like I could take your word on the condition of the car and trust your business. My expectations were EXCEEDED in the car and Thomas Classics really streamlined the pick-up and paperwork. I purchased a Bentley Continental GTC from Mike Shaeffer. I had never purchased a vehicle from the Internet before. At first I had some hesitations and decided to fly to the showroom the next day after speaking to Mike to see the car in person. He made arrangements for me to be picked up and drive...n back to the airport that same day. Everything he had told me about the car was exactly what the car was when I arrived at their showroom. As an additional step I decided to have the car evaluated by an outside party. Again the outside party confirmed to me that the car was everything Mike had indicated. Every phase of the transaction was handled with the highest level of professionalism. All of the paperwork was handled promptly and completely from the purchase to the shipping of the vehicle to my residence in Florida. Going forward when I decide to purchase another vehicle I will be contacting Mike at Thomas Classics as the inventory they have on-site is nothing short of amazing. Chad, from our first of many conversations to the time the ZR1 made it to my doorstep, I couldn't be more satisfied with everything about the deal/purchase. You delivered on every promise and that's what will keep you in business for many years to come. Not only that, without even hesitating you rep...laced the rear tires which are expensive by themselves, because we hadn't discussed them during the purchase process and you said you wouldn't send the car to me like that. For that reason , I will advertise for you to everyone that talks to me about my new car. Thomas Classics offers not only amazing cars but also a fabulous buying experience. The car was exactly as described and everything that I wanted. I had waited for years, mortgage...kids in college...life, to purchase a sports car and finally was able to do it. Thomas Classics had the car but hav...ing never purchased a car based on photographs alone was a bit wary. My first conversation with Allison put me completely at ease and we did the deal. They offered to arrange transport but I chose to fly to Cleveland and then catch a ride to Akron so that I could drive the car home to Annapolis, Maryland. The Thomas Classics showroom is absolutely unassuming and at the same time absolutely stunning. It is filled with the most beautiful automobiles. Chad's (the owner) magic isn't in selling cars...it is in choosing cars that sell themselves. Every car there is on the list of every car every car aficionado would want to drive. Heck, I would be happy just to look at them much less drive them. But all the cars there are driver's cars...they were meant to be on the road. The cars That Thomas Classics are all perfect and they are described accurately. You can buy a car from Thomas Classics with full confidence that you are getting what you expect. I arrived at Thomas Classics on a Saturday morning. The car was ready and waiting for me. The business end of the deal took less than 10 minutes...really. It was easier to buy the car than it was to pay for my breakfast that morning. Allison was great. Chad showed me around the showroom and I did my best to not drool on all of the beautiful machines. But there was a car waiting for me to drive to her new home. They had tags on her, the top was down, she was fully fueled, tire pressure was spot on and the dip stick showed fresh oil to the mark. I said my thank you's and goodbye's and aimed the pointy end of the machine toward the highway and pushed the pedal on the right down. 400 miles of smiles, a bit of sunburn, and about a bazillion dead bugs later we were home. I promised her a good washing in the morning. To be honest, I had as much fun washing her the next day as I had driving her. I guess the point off this rambling review is that if the perfect car is what you are looking for then you should look at what Thomas Classics has to offer. You will not be disappointed. The cars are perfect and the customer service is outstanding. And from me to you...don't put your car on a transporter. Put your butt in the seat and your right foot down...but beware the siren song of an amazing engine taching up as you shift through a buttery smooth gearbox lest you next hear the siren song of the State's finest...as its unlikely that the flashing lights are to escort you home. Chad, I’m not one to offer a review or offer testimonials very often but the experience I had with Thomas Classic’s compelled me to offer this note for those that are considering doing business with you. As with any product that is a significant investment, like a car, you are naturally apprehen...sive and even more so if buying from a distance. From my first phone call with you to the last, you demonstrated what I call the John Wayne style of business. Straight forward, no nonsense, it is what I say it is, and the answer I give you the first time you ask, is the same answer I’ll give you the sixth time you ask. This is a style of business that is not seen with today’s generation very often and I found it so refreshing that I wanted to let others know that might want to trade with you. My SRT8 arrive sooner that you promised, cleaner than you promised, in better shape than you promised. I hope you are still in business when I need another car. Well Done!
